Listening Tab:
From this tab you may practice your ability to recognise words by listening to them.

When you first enter this page, you will hear a word being spoken. To hear the word again, click the hear again button. When you think you know what the word is, type it into the text box, then press Enter on the keyboard or click the Enter button.

If your guess was correct, a picture representing the word will be displayed and you will be congratulated. Click New Word to test yourself with a new word.

If your guess was incorrect, you will be asked to guess the word again. If you guess wrongly a second time, you will be given the option of being told the correct answer, howeve you may choose to continue guessing the word yourself if you want. If you choose to be told the correct answer, you must type it in to the text box before you will be allowed to go on to a
