EyeSpeak Student Manual:

Words:
Here you can choose which word pair from a lesson and which word from the word pair that you want to practice.

Every sound lesson in EyeSpeak contains four word pairs. In each word pair are two words that differ from each other only in one sound. The contrast between these two sounds is the focus of the lesson.

You can choose to practice a lesson in the list by clicking on it. The name of the word in the lesson that you are currently practicing appears to the right. Beneath it is the word written in symbols, so that you know what sounds make up the word. If you have not recorded the word, the symbol in green shows you the sound in the word that contrasts with a sound in the other word in the pair. If you have recorded the word, the symbol in green represents the symbol that the main display is currently showing information on.

Each word in that pair appears in a button below the list. Click on a button to hear that word and to select that word to practice.

Clicking the large button saying What's the difference? will allow you to read about the difference between the sounds that contrast in the two words by going back to the introduction for the lesson.
